WWE 2022 Crown Jewel Match Results

The WWE 2022 Crown Jewel provided some unexpected surprises for the fans on Saturday evening, 05 November 2022 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The first surprise was the first match being between Bobby Lashley and Brock Lesnar that had some twists and turns.

Lashley dominated Lesnar from the get go but Lesnar was declared the winner from a pitfall. Lashley’s shoulders were on the mat with Lesnar on top of him even though Lashley pulled the Hurt Lock.

The main event between Roman Reigns and Logan Paul ended with Reigns retaining the WWE universal championship, defeating Paul. But it was not an easy match for the head of the table to win as Paul did not allow for the undisputed champion to bully him and held his own.

Bayley was no match for the Raw women’s champion Bianca Belair in the last woman standing match as Belair retained her title. The two women put their bodies on the line using the bamboo sword and numerous kendo strikes amongst other things.

The women’s tag team championship was nothing short of spectacular, the Damage CTRL targeted Asuka from the get go withher unable to make the tag to her partner Alexa Bliss. Asuka and Alexa Bliss put up a fight but they were not strong enough for the Damage CTRL who won the titles.

Drew McIntyre and Karrion Kross’s steel cage match was a physical match with both McIntyre and Kross not wanting to lose to one another. McIntyre exited the steel cage through the door to defeat Kross.

The six man tag team championship consisted of The O.C and Judgement Day. Each team could not hold on for too long with Judgement Day defeating The O.C through a pitfall.

The match between Braun Strowman and Omos started off with Omos overpowering Strowman. It took a long time for Strowman to find his foot and challenge Omos. Strowman defeated Omos through a pitfall.

The undisputed tag team championship the Usos retained their championship against the Brawling Brutes.
