Award-winning Nigerian artist Tiwa Savage has added yet another accolade to her impressive profile.
The 42 year old songstress received an honourary doctorate degree from the University of Kent in Canterbury, England. The proud Kent alumni was honoured with Doctor of Music for her inspirational and international career in music.
Not only did she sing during her acceptance speech but she also said the following:
“My prayer is that you one day will stand like this addressing students because you too have gone out into the world… and you never gave up.”
