Springboks lose to Australia in the Castle Rugby Championship

The Springboks lost 25-17 to Australia (Wallabies) earlier today, 27 August 2022 in the third round of  Castle Lager Rugby Championship played at the Adelaide Oval, Australia.

The visitors had numerous chances of winning the game but the Wallabies overpowered them, ending up winning the game.

The Wallabies went into half time leading 10-3. The Springboks finished strongly in the second half by scoring tries, penalty and converting.

“It was frustrating how many opportunities we created but didn’t convert into points,” said Jacques Nienaber, Springboks Head Coach.

The Springboks will be facing the Wallabies on 3 September at the Allianz Stadium in Australia.
