Bafana Bafana Looking to Redeem Themselves

Bafana Bafana has been tending on Twitter for two days now and its because of two reasons.

Firstly, the Banyana Banyana 2-1 win against Nigeria on 04 July 2022 sparked a debate and there was comparison between Banyana Banyana and Bafana Bafana on how both teams have been performing over the past years.

The second reason Bafana Bafana is trending is because the team is participating in the 2022 Hollywoodbets Council of Southern African Football Associations (COSAFA) Cuptournament that is currently underway at King Zwelithini Stadium in KwaZulu Natal. The tournament is scheduled from 5 to 17 July 2022.

The defending champions will be playing against Mozambique in the quarter finals on 13 July 2022 at Princess Magogo Stadium, Durban. Kick-off is at 5pm.

Coach Helman Mkhalele’s boys will be looking to restore the nations confidence after having not being able to qualify for the 2022 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) and suffered a 2-1 loss to Morocco on 09 June 2022 in the 2023 AFCON qualifiers.
