[Weekly Wheels]: Meet The 2023 Audi RS3 Sedan

This week’s weekly wheels segment goes to the 2023 Audi RS3 sedan. This is a perfect example of a family orientated sports car. The RS3 sedan is a sports car that delivers on both performance and daily driving activities.

If you’re an individual looking for a vehicle that delivers on performance, but at the same time you’re looking for a car that will also accommodate your daily activities like driving your kids to school, running errands etc, then the 2023 RS3 sedan is the best pick.

It is powered by a unique 2.5-liter inline five-cylinder engine, also known as the “5 pot engine” amongst car enthusiasts. It produces 294 kW of power and 500 Nm of torque which helps the RS3 accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 3.8 seconds, all the way to its top speed of 250 km/h.

The RS3 is equipped with a RS torque splitter. According to Audi, this feature distributes drive force between the front axle and the individual rear wheels-dynamically on demand. This helps the car to maintain stability and agility whilst driving through corners at highspeed.

Now that your performance needs are catered for, what about your daily expectations from a car?

Well, the RS3 has 321 litres of boot capacity which is enough to fit your shopping bags and luggage. It is a 4-door sports sedan which makes it easier to load your kids into the car, especially infants who need to be seated on an infant car seat.

This sports sedan can also fit five adults in the cabin, making it easier to travel with your colleagues and friends. For your entertainment needs, the RS3 has a Bang & Olufsen sound system, accompanied by a 10.1inch infotainment system, that supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Despite it being capable of being a practical family car, the two front sports seats, embedded with the RS logo, along with a dashboard that looks similar to that of a Lamborghini, reminds you that you’re still inside a sports car.

*Fun fact, did you know that Audi is a German car manufacturer owned by VW? Well, VW owns Audi, Lamborghini, Bentley, Porsche, Bugatti, Skoda, Seat, Cupra, MAN, and Ducati. This is why you’re likely to see a lot of design similarities amongst these car brands.
