move over people, Tyla has arrived and is she is here to stay. The singer made her debut performance at the Victoria’s Secrets fashion show last night in Brooklyn, New York.
She took to the runway to perform her new song “Push 2 Start” as well as the hit single “Water”. Tyla was dressed for the occasion in a glamourous and sexy outfit, complete with wings, perfect for a Victoria’s Secret show.
“We created something that would tie in with the show, something that would be nice for me to perform in. It’s very glitzy and it’s kind of different to what I’m used to,” she explains. “But I really like it. It’s something different and really elevated for me.”
“Literally, I would always watch Victoria’s Secret fashion shows on loop. I was obsessed with watching it and watching the people film. There was a time where I actually thought, Hey, let me just be a Victoria Secret Angel one day,” the singer laughs. “But my father said absolutely not”, said Tyla during an interview with Harpers Bazaar.
