Tyla is now officially the first African artist to win three MTV Europe Music Awards in one night. The Grammy winner artist took home awards in the “Best R&B”, “Best African Act” and “Best Afrobeats” categories.
Tyla also took to the stage to perform her hit single “Water” and new song “Push 2 Start”. Tyla who was recently snubbed for the 2025 Grammy’s, receiving 0 nominations from a possible 7 that she was considered for, is proof that when it’s your time, no one can stop your shine.
It’s been quite a debut season for Tyla, from dominating music charts, slaying red carpets, walking with Victoria’s Secret models and bagging multiple awards. We cannot wait to see what else is in store for this uppity African superstar.
