SABC1 soapie Generations: The Legacy has announced the return of one of South African TV’s most iconic villains, Ntsiki Lukhele, a role played by actress Pamela Nompumelelo Nomvete. Though production details remain under wraps, Nomvethe will reprise the role of the cunning villainess.
Nomvethe’s comeback follows several other high-profile returns to the show, including Winnie Ntshaba, Rapulana Seiphemo, and Connie Ferguson who plays Karabo Moroka.
The SABC recently announced that Generations: The Legacy was being dropped from the 8pm slot to 8:30pm, making way for popular show Uzalo to take up the 8pm slot.
The Generations: The Legacy production appears determined to reunite as many familiar faces as possible, perhaps to make up for the drop in viewership over the recent years.
