New York based, South African comedian Trevor Noah has scored himself six Emmy nominations for “The Daily Show”, including Outstanding Variety Talk Series and Outstanding Writing For A Variety Series. The comedian took to social media to express his gratitude for the recognition.
“Tired and scruffy but blessed and fulfilled. Truly incredible to see @thedailyshow team nominated for 6 Emmys this year! Is this even real life? Thank you @TelevisionAcad for the honour! 🙏🏾” – Noah shared.
The annual Emmy awards ceremony is set to take place on Sunday 20th September, hosted by Jimmy Kimmel.
