In some rather shocking news, Springboks captain Siya Kolisi and his wife Rachel Kolisi have taken to social media to announce the end of their marriage in a joint statement.
It goes without saying that Siya and Rachel are one of South Africa’s much loved couples, with a beautiful love story. The former lovebirds wed in 2016 and share two children together.
News of this divorce has taken the country by surprise and while we’re all hoping that this is some kind of a joke, like maybe Siya lost a bet with the boys or something silly like that and Rachel is just playing along, we respect their request for privacy and understanding during this time.
