[STATEMENT]: AKA & Nadia Nakai Deny Physical Assault Allegations

Rappers AKA and Nadia Nakai have rubbished rumours of a physical assault altercation, this after the Daily Sun reported that AKA had physically assaulted his new lover Nadia and a promoter while in Accra, Ghana.

The couple shared a joint statement in which they denied any physical assault incident. Furthermore, AKA’s lawyer Rudolph Baloyi on behalf of both artists issued a letter to the Daily Sun regarding the published article which allegedly defamed AKA. A retraction was demanded along with a public apology and R800 000 for damages caused.

The Daily Sun newspaper has since taken down the published article from their website.
