It is with great sadness to report that South African rapper Kiernan Forbes (35), famously known as AKA has passed away.
The rapper was shot dead outside a restaurant on Durban’s Florida Road. According to a statement released by his parents, the family is still awaiting more information following the police investigation.
“To us, Kiernan Jarryd Forbes, was a son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend, most importantly, father to his beloved daughter, Kairo. To many, he was AKA, SUPAMEGA, BHOVA and the many other names of affection his legion of fans called him by. Our son was loved, and he gave love in return.”

Police are currently investigation a double murder.
