[RIP]: Former Player & Analyst Siphiwe Mkhoza Has Passed Away

Siphiwe Mkhonza, a celebrated former Kaizer Chiefs player and football analyst has sadly passed away.

His father, Joseph Mkhonza confirmed the news of his passing. Siphiwe (44) died in the early hours of Monday 5 March at the Charlotte Maxeke Hospital and the cause of death has been revealed as kidney failure due to a long battle with kidney infection.

His father shared that as a family, they were hoping he would recover from his illness.

“We are devastated as a family and we are in shock,” he stated. “We were looking forward to so much from him and we thought he would recover. I am at a loss for words.”
