Popular DJ Sumbody, real name Oupa Sefoka has passed away.
The artist was ambushed in the early hours of Sunday morning after returning from a gig at Newscafe Woodmead in Johannesburg.
Sefoka was reportedly travelling with his driver and a bodyguard when multiple gunshots were fired at their vehicle. Sefoka and one another person were confirmed dead while the third victim is said to be “seriously injured”.
Police investigations are currently underway.
