South Africa’s men’s national football team Bafana Bafana has qualified for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations tournament. The 2025 AFCON is set to take place in Morocco from December 2025 – January 2026.
Despite still having to play two more AFCON qualifier matches, Bafana qualified because Congo Brazzaville lost 3-2 to South Sudan, placing them second in Group K.
Bafana are set to take on Uganda tomorrow in Kampala and will face South Sudan back at home in Cape Town on Tuesday 19th November.
This year Bafana Bafana brought back from AFCON bronze medal after beating “top teams” to claim the third spot. Coach Broos is now the first Bafana coach to qualify back to back for AFCON.
