Although there have been several breakups and divorce announcement during the lockdown, this one was unexpected.
After 27 years of marriage, Melinda French Gates has filed for divorce from billionaire husband Bill Gates. The couple took to social media to announce their separation as well as asking for privacy during this time.
With Bill Gates being one of the worlds richest billionaires, and Melinda with a network of nearly $70 million dollars, we think this divorce will be settled swiftly without. In fact Melinda has not requested any spousal support and days after news of their divorce broke out, it was reported that Bill transferred Melinda $2.4 billion worth of stock.
The couple share three children and will continue to work together under their Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
