Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies Football Club (FC) will be up against Green Buffaloes in the 2022 Hollywoodbets Council of Southern Africa Football Associations (COSAFA) Women’s Championship final on 13 August 2022 at Sugar Ray XuluStadium, Durban. Kick off is at 3:30pm.
The two teams were confirmed earlier on today when Double Action Ladies won 2-0 against Costa Do Sol making SundownsLadies the winners of group A with 4 points after 2 games played.
By virtue of being in the final both teams qualify for the continental 2022 TotalEnergies Confederation of African Football (CAF) Women’s Champion League in Morocco. The date of the tournament is yet to be confirmed.
The 2022 CAF Club of the year are the defending champions of the 2021 CAF Women’s Championship League and will be looking to retain their championship.
