Orlando Pirates FC have just confirmed that Thembinkosi “Lorch” is set to leave the football club after an agreement was reached with Mamelodi Sundowns. The 30 year old has been with Orlando Pirates since 2015.
“Thembinkosi Lorch is to leave Orlando Pirates Football Club after a discussion between the Chairman Dr. Irvin Khoza and the Mamelodi Sundowns hierarchy”, said the statement.
“The Club thanks “Nyoso” for his immense contribution by adding another page in the history of the Club.
We wish him and his family well in his future sporting pursuit”.
Pirates fans are not going to like this transfer and we don’t blame them! Meanwhile Mamelodi Sundowns continues to collect some of the best players in and out of SA. The team just recently announced the signing of winger, Tashreeq Matthews, who returns to South Africa from European Club IK Sirius and Matías Esquivel who signed a four and half year contract with Masandawana!
