Mamelodi Sundowns goalkeeper and Bafana Bafana captain Ronwen Williams has made history as the first goalkeeper to be nominated for the Ballon d’Or Yashin Trophy while playing for a club in Africa.
The 32 year old Sundowns keeper is nominated alongside Argentina’s Emiliano Martinez. The awards are set to be hosted on 28th October.
