Gavin Hunt Back at SuperSport United FC

Earlier on today, SuperSport United Football Club (FC) announced Gavin Hunt as the new head coach after firing Kaitano Tembo in April 2022. He signed a two-year deal, and his technical team has also been announced: Thabo September, Andre Arendse, Grant Johnson, and Roscoe Krieling.

As per the statement released by SuperSport United FC, “Gavin has a great history with our club and his coaching record speaks for itself with four PSL League titles and domestic cups to his name.”

Hunt previously coached Matsatsantsa a Pitori from 2007until 2013 when he left to join Bidvest Wits as the head coach. He won three league titles for SuperSport in 2008, 2009 and 2010.

The experienced coach has been at the helm of several teams such as Kaizer Chiefs and Chippa United.

SuperSport’s announcement amazed a lot of twitter users as there had been several rumours of the team being put for sale, it was also confirmed today that the team is not up for sale.
