Manchester United unveiling Christian Eriksen are news that probably made football fans jump with joy. Eriksen signed a three-year deal with the Reds that will see him be at Old Trafford until June 2025.
He joins Man United as a free agent after his contract with Brentford expired.
As per the statement released by Manchester United, “Christian has been one of the best attacking midfielders in Europe throughout his career. It is no surprise that he had so many options this summer, so we are really happy that he was convinced that this is the right club for him.”
The 30-year-old suffered a cardiac arrest on the pitch in Denmark’s first opening match during the EURO 2020 and was fitted with an implantable cardioverter defibrillator.
The Denmark player has 115 caps for Denmark and 237 Premier League caps.
On the same breath, the Reds have unveiled their new away kit that will be worn for the first time on 19 July 2022 against Crystal Palace in a club friendly.
