Meet the new and refined 2023 Toyota Fortuner, that now has better features than ever before. The car looks more modern with its new facelift, and it still sticks to its traditional offroad roots.
From the exterior perspective, the car has a noticeably different and modern looking face. It now has upgraded automatic-levelling LED headlights and sequential LED turn signal indicators. It drives on newly designed 18” alloy wheels. In terms of body design Toyota still kept the traditional Fortuner body design with only minor changes.
In the interior, the Fortuner still has a spacious and yet stylish looking interior. The car is a seven–seater, and it comes with an optional extra feature of black and maroon-accented leather seats. It also comes with an 8” JBL infotainment system accompanied by 11 speakers. However, the infotainment colour screen still has poor quality pixel resolution. The infotainment system allows Bluetooth, USB connections, and it can also be controlled through the multifunction steering wheel, which prevents the driver from taking their eyes off the road, just to change a song on their playlist.
Fortuner’s Practicality

The Fortuner is powered by a 2.4 litre 4–cylinder diesel engine, and it produces 110 kW of power and 400 Nm of torque. It has a top speed of 175 km/h, and an average fuel consumption of 6.8 litres/ 100km.
Pricing
The lowest spec Fortuner starts from R653 500, all the up to R897 000 for the full spec model.
