Congratulations are in order for South Africa’s women’s football team Banyana Banyana who are currently competing at the FIFA Women’s World Cup.
Banyana Banyana triumphed over Italy, defeating the Italians 3-2 to advance to the knockout stages of the Women’s World Cup.
Banyana’s match winning goals came from Orsi Bendetta (own goal), Hildah Magaia and Thembi Kgatlana.
Hildah “Breadwinner” Magaia was named player of the match for her brilliant assist and goal.
As it stands, each Banyana Banyana player is guaranteed to receive R1.1 million according to FIFA rules.
Congratulations Banyana Banyana, South Africa is proud of you!!!
