Actor Mathews Rantsoma is leaving e.tv’s Scandal! News of his departure from the show came as a surprise for fans of both Mathews and Scandal.
Mathews joined Scandal in 2021 taking on the much loved role of Nhlamulo Maseko. According to the shows executives, Mathews was not fired from the show, but instead asked to exit in order to pursue other work.
“Mathews approached us to advise that he would like to pursue other ventures. The production and the channel support his decision and have agreed to release him. He will exit the story at end-July. We wish him all success in his future plans,” e.tv said.
We’re looking forward to seeing more of his work on and off the small screen.
