Keke Palmer and her boyfriend/baby daddy Darius have been trending on social media since last night.
Now you may be asking yourself “why are they trending? What happened?”… Let’s break it down for you.
Keke Palmer and friends headed to Vegas to attend Usher’s residency show. As a celebrity guest, she was obviously spotted by the legendary artist.
Usher serenaded Keke in full view of all those in attendance and everyone at home (thanks to social media). Now someone was home watching Keke’s moves online was her baby daddy Darius.
As Keke and Usher trended for entertainment, Darius obviously felt threatened and insecure which led to him publicly shaming the mother of his child and girlfriend (or maybe ex-girlfriend now) with the comment below:
Now what’s interesting about all of this is how he tried to make the whole thing seem like he was addressing her dress code, meanwhile everybody knew it was about Usher and how Keke was living her best life at the show.
Following his initial tweet, he went on to “cement” what he said with the tweet below but even that didn’t land as well as he thought it would.
“A man of the family doesn’t want the wife & mother to his kids to showcase booty cheeks to please others,” Darius tweeted Wednesday afternoon
Social media users came to Keke’s defence and pulled out receipts of his previous behaviours and thoughts shared on social media.
Things obviously took a turn for the worst and he quickly deactivated his social media account in less than 24 hours.
Policing a women’s body and the choices she makes for herself is never a good thing, let alone doing that in full view of the public. Darius should have known better than to move like that and instead private’s addresses his issue.
