Veteran TV and stage actor Sello Motloung has passed away.
“He collapsed at home, and his wife took him to the hospital, and he passed at about five yesterday.”
His family shared the statement below via Actor Spaces on their Instagram page.
“A heartfelt tribute to Sello Motloung, a beloved actor and artist who graced us with his talent, passion, and unwavering dedication. His presence will be deeply missed, but his legacy will continue to inspire generations to come. Rest in peace, bra- Sello. Your light will forever shine in our hearts,” the post read.
“We are devastated to inform you of the sudden passing of Ntate Sello Motloung on Sunday, 15 September. His family is in shock, and we ask that you give them space at this time,” read the statement.
He starred on Ring of lies, The Estate, Rhythm City, The Wife and many other shows and films.
His breakout roles was on Nna Sajene Kokobela, a Sesotho drama series that aired on SABC 2.
