Springboks Trash Valiant Portugal In Bloemfontein Test Match

A red card and two yellow cards could not stop the springboks from celebrating a  64-21 victory over Portugal in Bloemfontein yesterday after 10 tries and a 78 minutes  play with an aggressive and cohesive 14-man team.

Hat-trick scorer Wing Makazole Mapimpi and Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu gave the team an amazing performance.  The rest of the their teammates also played an excellent game in order to achieve such a great result with the many points scored against their rivals who made moves and showed determination throughout the game.

Despite the final score of the match, the commitment of both teams to win and the twist of the match was eye catching to the spectators and full of varying emotions. The Springboks made a strong attack against the Portuguese who were left no other option but to play a defensive to meet up with Boks muscles. José Santos and José Madeira pushed very hard to make an impact with several tries, and their flaws will be memorable from this opportunity to play against the Boks.

Coach Rassie Erasmus playbook definitely contains the best formula for Springbok’s success ahead of the Championship and this has been proven by the outcome of this match. Captain Salmaan Moerat’s demonstration of a good leadership qualities and his ability to collaborate and keep the team together with a good composure is highly applauded by Rugby fans.
