Mamelodi Sundowns coach Rhulani Mokwena has confirmed that Thembinkosi Lorch will not feature in tomorrow’s Nedbank Cup final against his former club Orlando Pirates.
According to Mokwena, Lorch is injured but not only that, he has also been excluded as part of a disciplinary measure following his recent viral drunk video.
In case you missed it, a heavily intoxicated Lorch went live on his Instagram account in what appeared to be post PSL victory celebrations. Now there’s nothing wrong with celebrating your first league title but he should have known not to dent his image and that of his club on a public platform.
The troubled footballer is reportedly apologetic about his behaviour and only time will tell how his career at Sundowns pans out.
Following the trending video, coach Mokwena expressed that he was very disappointed with his behaviour and would have a personal talk with him.
