American R&B singer Ashanti (43) and her boyfriend, rapper Nelly (49) are reportedly pregnant with their first child together.
Ashanti and Nelly are what many refer to as “couple goals” and their reunion as a couple has been wildly celebrated by their fans. The two were involved in a long term relationship which began in early 2003 before breaking things off in 2013. However, a decade later in 2023, Nelly circled the block and went back to Ashanti and they’ve been inseparable ever since.
During a recent performance at one of Nelly’s events, the rapper was seen pointing at Ashanti’s belly, while the songstress candidly cuddled her tummy. The two the shared a moment of laugher, which could possibly mean they were just joking, but who knows… only time will tell.
US Weekly reports that Ashanti is indeed pregnant with Nelly’s child. However, until the two confirm this, we’ll consider it a rumour! If she is pregnant, this will be Ashanti’s first child and Nelly’s third.
